- Dr Sylvain Faust started his practice in 1970;
- He has been a full time acupuncturist since 1976;
- Member, since 1977, of the "Association Belge des Médecins Acupuncteurs";
- Author of a book published in 1983: "L'acupuncture, médecine
occidentale?";
- Director of the 'Institute for Teaching Contemporary Acupuncture' created by
him in 1989;
- Author of numerous articles published in the Belgian medical press, he was
invited to give a presentation on acupunture:
- in 1991 by the British Medical Acupuncture Society ;
- in 1997 by the World Psychiatric Association;
- in 1998 by the "Université Libre de Bruxelles" during an
afternoon dedicated to "Alternative medicine under the scrutiny of
science".
